I’m looking for an expert who could talk about the expansion of ethnic markets in Southern California – what it means, could it get over saturated? what does this say about the grocery industry and how its changing? what does it say about CA? Is there anyone who has expertise in Asian markets?

The news peg for my story is a Filipino market called Seafood City coming to OC. So I’m writing about that and then drawing in the proliferation of ethnic markets in Orange County and SoCal in recent years – such as H Mart, Mitsuwa, Assi, Ansari. Wholesome Choice and Ranch 99 have been here for years. Hispanic markets have been here for decades so I’m not talking about them as much.
